We found this great post by Stephan Guyenet who professionally conducts research on obesity, nutrition, and health. His article talks about body mass index--BMI, obesity, and your risk for type 2 diabetes. Although his study is centered more around adults, let's think about how we can instill healthy eating habits in our children now and decrease their risk for type 2 diabetes and other weight-related health issues in the future. They're still young, which means we can help our kids early and try to guide them on a healthy track to continue as they reach adulthood!
